Orbit Plus users can now create private collections. These can only be accessed by the creator/owner of the collection, as well as anyone with whom the collection has been shared.
Orbit Plus users can benefit from selecting pre-generated image dimensions upon download. No longer do you need to download those large images!
Your files’ descriptions and tags will now be automatically mapped into Orbit from its EXIF/XMP metadata.
Orbit Plus accounts can now be connected to 3rd party systems, allowing you to automate the distribution or import of files to/from websites, platforms, and apps. Learn more about the API here.
You can now invite and/or edit users in bulk, allowing you to copy-paste lists whether they are separated by commas, spaces, etc.
We've made search results more relevant and now support searching with special characters.
View your PDFs page by page, zoom in and out, highlight and copy text, follow links, and make use of table of contents pages too.
Files always change and Orbit’s versions make managing that easier. Add new versions from your desktop, Drive, Dropbox, or Box so your team stay up to date. Learn more about versions here.

You can now import files from your Box account directly into Orbit. Whether it’s a brand new file or you need to add a new version, just select Box from list of upload options.
>Orbit now displays camera information from your files’ metadata. When you check out a photograph on Orbit you’ll also be able to see the make and model of its camera, as well as things like the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture.

Now, you can easily find out which of your files are most popular among your team members. Just look them up in the Most viewed channel. More on channels: Work with channels.

As a Plus user, you can now see which files you have shared, when, and who with. All this data is available on the Share management page so that you do not have to spend time trying to track and trace the information. Wanna know more? See Share files.
Now we offer previews for your iWorks files. For more information on the file formats we support, see Supported file formats.
Now you can assign a file to a fellow team member whenever needed. You simply select a user from the drop-down and you're good to go. The assignee receives an email notification with all the details. Also, you can filter for users with files assigned to them. For more information, see Manage the status of files.
Click dehaze to open the sidebar menu and click Categories in the Settings tab. Voila! This is our new category management page, ready for you to use. Create, edit and delete categories and options to your heart's content. For more on categories, see Manage categories.
Another great time-saver. No need to download and upload files from your computer if the files are resting in your Dropbox account. Simply select to upload from Dropbox, choose your files, and we'll do the rest. Want to know more? See Upload files from Dropbox.
Especially when it comes to files. Setting file status makes a huge difference when you want to track files and have more control over them. Especially now, that you can keep your team in the loop and share an entire collection with them. No more sharing individual files! To make it even more exciting, shared collections get updated on the fly - if you add more files to a collection you have shared, the recipients will see the collection with the latest files. If you upload a file and do not assign any tag or category to it, the file can still be easy to find. All those files are now grouped in the Uncategorized channel so that you can trace them easily and tag whenever you want. For more on channels, see Work with channels.
Got a collection with many files? Find the ones you need by sorting them in your collection. You can sort files alphabetically, by date added, or from oldest to newest. For more information, see Manage collections.
Now, you can easily tell if an option has been added to several or all files you are uploading or editing. You can also apply options to all edited files or clear them with one click. For more information, see Edit multiple files.

A small thing that will make sharing a sheer pleasure. Now, if you share files, it's enough to start typing the recipient for a suggestions drop-down to display! You can select your team members or entire groups. Can't be easier! For more information on sharing, see Share files.
No more searching for this super-important .docx file! Now all your document and presentation files are grouped in one channel. Docs & Presentations holds all your uploaded .xlsx, .docx, .pptx, .key, .numbers, and .pages files allowing you to find them in no time at all. For more on channels, see Work with channels.
Didn't like the idea of your transfer link being always available to recipients? Neither did we. That is why we added an option to select an expiry time for transfers. So if you share sensitive files, you can select for the transfer link to expire after one day and not be accessible for the recipients any longer. But fear not, as a transfer creator, you can still track the files you transfer because the link will still be accessible to you.

You're viewing a file and want to share it? Can't be easier! Just click the share icon! No need to click back to share from the overview, because now sharing is also available on the file detail page. For more on sharing, see Share files.
We like overviews where you can easily monitor all your user data. So we've added user status (active/deactivated) and permission profile columns to the mix. You can also customize the overview to show more user data. See Manage users.
